Here at the Encyclopedia of Entities, we pride ourselves on having the largest collection of information on CDK’s officially classified entities. See one you think we might have missed? You’re wrong. Trust us, we’ve done our research. Only entities that have undergone rigorous research, studies and verification are allowed on our website.
For years this information has only been available by word of mouth. This all changed at an estate sale last fall. A bulk lot of unassuming filing boxes were included with some various “rare treasures”. Presumably the auctioneer included the boxes thinking they were junk and that whoever bought the “rare treasures’ would be forced to dispose of these files. Unbeknownst to the auctioneer, these files were the rarest treasure of them all. A life time of notations and research from none other than CDK himself. These have of course been verified by experts.
The anonymous donor has graciously donated these files and a large sum of money. This donation included a dedicated plan to continue CDK’s research, collection and documentation of entities from the realm he refers to as the obscure. To date, thirteen dangerous entities have been contained by this taskforce. A dedicated team will be slowly documenting the information here for educational purposes. The more that is known about the entities, the more we can fight those who seek to harm and destroy our realm.
Recently we have been having increasingly persistent disappearances, dismemberments and other discontinuations of employees. We recognize that this is a hazard of the line of work, but the result is that we no longer have enough staff employed to maintain our “Entity of the Month” spotlight. Our deepest regrets go out to our faithful readers. We would still love to be able to share our knowledge of the CDK-approved entities both in and out of our care. So, we are introducing the “Featured Entity.” It will be updated when we have enough spare time to do so. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for job postings coming soon.
Despite it’s high number, 413 is the first entity to have been catalogued by CDK. First discovered by CDK in the woods near his childhood home. CDK quickly found that this was more than just a standard forest fae. 413’s most notable abilities are temporal shifting and mental manipulation.
There is no further understanding of what 413 consumes for energy. A description of its appearance is also unavailable as none have been able to properly document an encounter with 413. It is not believed that it has shapeshifting abilities or an ethereal form, but rather that it is able to use mental manipulation to remove any memory of its appearance. Very little is known about 413 despite decades of investigation.
